We believe Jesus Christ to be the founder, owner, and blood-shedder of His church (Ephesians 1:20-23; Matthew 16:18), which began shortly after His death in Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:1-3; Acts 2:41).
We believe a Christian is someone who strives to do all things according to the pattern set forth in the New Testament, understanding that he or she is not perfect (1 Jn. 1:8), yet striving to " . . grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).
We believe in God the Eternal Father (Isa 45:15-21; Mal 3:6; Rev 20:11-13), Jesus Christ his only begotten Son (John 5:19-24; Hebrews 1:1-14), and the Holy Ghost (John 14:15-18, 26, 15:26, 16:13).
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ; in the resurrection of the Dead, and in Eternal Judgment; and, that men will be rewarded or punished according to the good or evil they may have done. (Matthew 16:27; Revelation 20:1-6, 12-15, 22:12)
We believe the primary function of the church is to 'teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19)'
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as established by the Lord in the beginning as being a union between one man and one woman. (Mark 10:6-9; Matthew 5:31-32, 19:3-9; 1 Corinthians 7:10-11)
