God give me guidance this day that I may not lose sight of the high and holy purpose of my life. Help me to gain insight into the needs of those with whom I am in contact. May I seek not to impose my will, but rather to bestow Thy good upon those with whom I am blessed to work.
Renew my appreciation this day that work well done, with purpose and integrity, is one of the greatest blessings.
Let me realize that this day is a gift to me; that my obligation is to make it a gift of giving, never withholding.
Enfold me with the wisdom of patience, the capacity to understand, the compassion to forgive.
As I make decisions that call for courage, grant me the unfailing knowledge that as a child of God I am never separated from Thy wisdom.
Give me the intuition about others that recognize their needs; and the honesty about myself that acknowledges my errors.
Keep me alive to the everyday privilege of sharing, and the joy of fulfillment.
Enable me to see Thee in each of my fellow men.
Let Thy strength lift me up that I may live this day using all that I have, in the constant knowledge that all I have is Thee, O Lord.
