"Time is Moving On!"

It just occurred to me that I've been on earth for a little over half a century now. Wow! You know, in one sense that seems like a long time. You know how we use the word 'getting old'. Well I don't feel that way. Actually, I'm just grateful to be feeling as well as I feel, having my faculties and mental aptitude. Also, I'm grateful for the many wonderful, happy years I've spent on earth. Notwithstanding, I've had some trying times in the past, but for the greatest part of my life I've had a wonderful one and I thank God for that. I thank God for my family. I thank God for His church and I thank God for caring and showing such wondrous care for me.

Many of us are not looking for a quick exit. It appears that many of us have gotten accustomed to living and have gotten spoiled by life and have many attachments and friendships with loved ones. We've encountered things, experienced things, and enjoyed things so dying seems like a terrible end. Actually its a time to talk about life, 'living'. We all are going to die at some point or another, so why concern yourself with the inevitable. Just be what you can be, do what you can do, love as much as you know how and if you don't know how, ask God to take you to that level where He is, because that is the true essence of a faithful life. I am so grateful for everything that I see that's right, good and wholesome in the world. While I acknowledge there are many things that are not wholesome, you know it seems a whole lot more pleasant to me, a lot more endearing and life seems a lot more refreshing by just keeping my eyes on that sunshine and those beautiful clouds; the lovely trees, and all of the beautiful sounds of the birds and the bees. It is wonderful just to enjoy the goodness of life.

Real Honest Love Always,
Bro Dave
