"What's Wrong With Me?"

I suppose most of us have those days in which everything seems to go wrong. There are the kinds of days that make us wonder if we have any common sense, or that make us doubt that we know what we are doing. There are those days when we pray and like the scripture says "We know not what to pray for." Life can get confusing, even to Christians. Sometimes its difficult to get a perspective on life, what its all about, and how we can make it through. If those days are filled with mistakes, we get frustated or maybe angry. If those days are filled with failure and with sin, we get discouraged. If those days are filled with sadness or grief, we get disheartened. There is always something to challenge our faith and our steadfastness on the Lord.

When Jesus started preaching, He preached the gospel, "The Good News." That is why it is the good news! He preached all of the world's problems, all the world's sins and all the world's difficulties with the good news. The good news is that Jesus Christ is our Saviour, and He came to save us by His death, burial and His resurrection. Jesus brought hope to those who had given up on themselves. Jesus brouth cheer to those who were frustrated and angry. Jesus came to a world full of failure, and people who often doubted themselves and God. To a world of doubters, Jesus brought good news. Jesus did this even in the face of serious sins. It is amazing how He could face such a desolate world with only good news. I am sure there things that He condemned, but the good news overshadowed all of the condemnation. He said to the world that no matter what your faults and failures, your deficiencies, your evils, your sins, and your violations before God, I have come to absorb the punishment of them all. I have come to absorb the detriment for them all. I have come to give life as a ransom for it all, as a sacrifice and as a lamb. Therefore, you can have the good news that you are free, you are forgiven, you are blessed and you can inherit eternal life. What wonderful good news the Lord has brought us. Let us not feel bad or worry so much about what is wrong with us. Jesus thought we were worthy enough to die for us. God bless you. Lets give that same love and good news to the world.
