She moved to Charlotte in November of 1993 to live with her daughter Crystal, who is also a member here at Sugar Creek. Sis Hollis placed membership at Sugar Creek in January 1994. She is also a member of the Charlotte Senior Citizens club. Her hobbies include walking and reading her bible. Sis Hollis believes in being honest and humble, and is a God-fearing Christian. |

| Sis Irene Solomon - Sis Solomon was born in Normandy, TN on April 28, 1924. She is the widow of the late James Solomon. She has 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is a retired nurse of 32 years. Sis Solomon grew up in a Christian home, baptized into Christ at 13. She has been a member of the church of Christ for around 70 years. She was instrumental in starting the United Ladies Bible Class at Avondale Church of Christ in Chattanooga, TN. She has taught the gospel to many and inspired her son, David, and brother, Eddie Brinkley, as well as others, to become gospel ministers. Her hobbies include writing and telling stories, writing poems, crochet and singing. |
