Community Outreach

Purpose: Help each student to earnestly defend the faith, to expose God's redemptive plan to the lost and to grow faithfully each day in the person of Jesus Christ. Our aim is not merely to make disciples but to raise effective 'disciple-makers.'

Community Outreach: And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful. (Tit 3:14)

Humanity is often referred to in the Bible as a harvest that's waiting for the farmer to come and gather it in (Matt. 9:37). At the Sugar Creek congregation we make every effort to be the light and salt of our community. By taking a 'whole-istic' approach we serve as a bridge that connects the resources of God's Church to the various needs of our community. Ultimate success in the community is measured by those who are empowered, enriched and exposed to the gospel of Christ.
